In some ways this was a better gig than the Norwich one - bigger crowd, purer accoustics, but it was a shorter set, so Norwich wins on points.

However, this was special in other ways. It was Arun District Council's Jubillee Concert, with the D boys topping the bill. For them it was the triumphant homecoming to where it all started 10 years ago. It was outdoors on the sea front, and although it had been raining, the drizzle petered out and some 15000 showed up. And it was my birthday!

Because the set was shorter they missed out Obsession (sob), but this is a small complaint in what was still a great set. Bliss, Deeper, History Maker and Investigate stand out. Martin is such a great showman, yet still a humble man of God.

Another great night out, and to top it off an outrageous firework show.
